If you can talk to the troops what would you say ?
That you all have done a great job,I just wish I could say all you would need was there for you when you come home. Not just for you, but for your families as well.
Do you have ideas to get this movement across the nation faster ?
Write about what should of been in place before the troops go to war. There is no way they didn't have a clue about the health care issues they would be experiencing. Hound the politicions in every state from the congress to the President . It's our duty to make sure our troops have everything they will need in place before we send them to war or anywhere for any reason, for them and there families. I'm not just talking about all the health care issues, but mental health issues are the most important for them...

Poem/The Book

The Book

If the world was a book
And every day a page
The story there will make
Sense to all the players
Within each daily performance

For the world
Is a stage
And we all are the actors
Each in our daily play

Not all will be good stories
With happy endings
Each ending will be each
actors ending to learn and to grow

This just stretches on forever
And forever
One more page to explore
I can not close the cover
On This Book

I can not walk away from this story
As each page turns to another life… Continue

POEM- about Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome

Her Warriors Mind Lost in Hell

She awakes to the thrashing of his arms and legs
Hears his moans and screams
From the rage of his tormented dreams
Her Warriors mind is still living in hell
If he doesn't get help she may not live to tell

Softly she slips from there bed
Where she sleeps clinging to the edge
She wipes the wetness she feels dripping
Down her from her lips and with tongue gives a lick
Sad, yet glad it wasn’t her ribs again
Just blood dripping down her chin

Softly she whispers his… Continue

Poem/ About those men/women who stick by us ....

The Battle of The Soldiers Wife

Back for months now from the war
He’s doing much better
Coming to terms with the loss
of the use of his legs
Maneuvers the wheel chair like a race car
Yes, he’s doing much better
We, he and I are not

He keeps a distance between us
Pulls away at my most innocent touch
Sitting by the window again thinking
Glancing over at me with his thoughts
You know the ones
He’s not the same man as he once was
Without his legs what is he
How can I stay with him
“How can I not”… Continue

Poem/ Promises and Expectations

Promises and Expectations

From all over the world
Our men and women
come when
called to duty

Each one meeting without question
the demands of
all commands
given

They go with hearts full of promises
to loved ones
they will come
home

To commanders they swear and promise
to give their
best no matter
if it means
their life
to keep all free

Has our government been prepared
to receive them
when damaged
with all the care
they all need

Are their families needs met
to help
the solder
that comes
hom… Continue

Hi Alexandra and Welcome,
Well said! Thank you so much for joining and helping us get as many members as we can! Please invite everyone you know to join us in this great cause. If you or someone you know is in a position to donate please let us know and we will do the rest. The troops will really appreciate it! We want to get this going in every state! Take time each day to say a prayer for our troops and their families and for our country and its leadership. Have a Happy and Prosperous New Year, stay safe and be blessed....
